The Role

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated, service-oriented Account Manager with strong commercial acumen to make a significant contribution to the airline during a critical period of expansion.

In return the successful applicant will be joining a fun, supportive and collaborative commercial team dedicated to high performance and collective success. Working in a flexible hybrid arrangement, the new account manager will have commercial responsibility for a dedicated national portfolio of travel agents including independent, franchise and enterprise clients.

In the role you will:

  • Manage your own portfolio of travel agents
  • Grow and develop your portfolio through relationship building and sales initiatives
  • Conduct regular account management meetings with your key clients
  • Attend events to promote the airline brand and destination
  • Use sales data to inform your monthly strategy
  • Gather market intelligence to identify trends and future business opportunities
  • In time, negotiate formal commercial agreements with agent partners
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required (approx once a month) to maintain your personal knowledge base of products and destinations

The Successful candidate:

To be successful in this role, these attributes are considered essential:

  • Experience in a commercial account management role
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English
  • Ability to use data analytics to inform sales and business development strategy
  • Experience with sales budgets and planning
  • Availability to travel interstate and overseas
  • Intermediate MS Office
